Letting go of my strict work hours made remote life way better
I mean, I used to think sticking to a fixed schedule was key to being productive on the road. Idk, maybe it made me feel more in control or something. But then in Porto, I missed out on a local festival because I was glued to my laptop during 'work hours'. After that, I tried being more flexible with my time. Now, if there's a morning market or a chance to explore, I'll shift my work to later. It sounds small, but not feeling tied to the clock has been a real win for my happiness. I get my work done fine, and I actually experience the places I'm in. Maybe it's just me, but changing my mind on this has made the nomad thing feel way more sustainable.
