inI always thought our company's legal team was just a cost center until the deposition last Tuesday.
That's a good point about training, but in my experience, the standard contracts are where the biggest traps hide. A vendor can slip in a sneaky auto-renewal or a crazy liability clause that looks normal at first. Our legal folks review those "standard" agreements and find stuff our sales team would never catch.

Totally agree, you have to check in on them! I set a calendar reminder for the first Monday of every month to open my backup software and look at the logs. Found a failed drive that way before it became a real problem. It only takes five minutes but it gives you so much peace of mind. Letting it run on its own is just asking for a nasty surprise later.

inI finally caved and bought a proper steamer for my treatment room
Vinegar works but the smell is awful... I use those citric acid powder packets made for coffee machines. Run a cycle with a tablespoon of that once a week. It keeps the scale from getting a real grip.
