Phishing attempt caught by 2FA. Now I'm split on blanket 2FA enforcement vs. selective use. What's your stance?

Totally agree, 2FA saved me from a sketchy login attempt last month too lol.

Wow, that's great to hear! In my experience, though, not all 2FA is created equal. SMS codes can be intercepted, so I always recommend using an authenticator app when possible.

Wait, SMS codes can actually be intercepted? That blows my mind because so many sites still use that as their only option. Honestly, I’ve been using SMS for my bank this whole time thinking it was solid. Now I’m genuinely freaked out and need to check if they offer an app. Tbh, security advice changes so fast it’s hard to keep up.
