Update: My shop's front window display went from sad to spectacular in about 48 hours
Okay, so last Tuesday, I had this super basic arrangement in my front window. It was just some white roses and baby's breath in a clear vase, honestly kind of boring. Then, a local bakery asked if they could do a cross-promotion for their new lavender honey cake. I said sure, not thinking much of it. I grabbed a bunch of purple statice, some deep green ruscus, and a few stems of actual lavender I grow in a pot out back. I threw it all together in this rustic ceramic planter I had. The difference was crazy! In two days, I had three people come in just because they saw the window from the street. One lady literally said, 'That purple just pops, I had to stop!' It made me realize how much a bold color theme can pull people in off the sidewalk. Has anyone else had a simple ingredient swap totally change a display's impact?
