My old iPod Nano came back to life after a freezer trick I saw online
I had a 4th gen iPod Nano that just wouldn't turn on, no matter what button I pressed. The battery was totally dead, and I was ready to toss it. Then I saw a random comment on a forum about putting it in a sealed bag and leaving it in the freezer overnight. I figured I had nothing to lose, so I tried it. After about 8 hours, I took it out, let it warm up for an hour, and plugged it in. The charging symbol actually popped up. It's been playing music for three days now. I think the cold might have shocked the old battery just enough to take a charge again. Has anyone else tried something this weird on a gadget that was basically a brick?
