I tried to fix my living room curtains with a sewing hack and now I have a new outfit idea
Last week, I noticed a big tear in my living room curtains. Instead of buying new ones, I decided to stitch them up with some leftover lace from an old project. I got my sewing machine out, but things went sideways fast. The lace was too delicate, and I ended up sewing the curtain to my shirt sleeve without realizing it. When I stood up, the whole curtain came down with me, wrapped around like a toga. My family laughed so hard, but then my kid said it looked cool. Now I'm sketching designs based on that accidental drape, thinking about flowy layers for a spring collection. Who knew a home repair could spark a fashion idea? Maybe I should mess up more often.
