Changed my tune after my boy caught a coolant leak I missed
I used to ban kids from my diesel repair space, thinking they'd cause accidents. My youngest kept begging to learn, so I gave him a simple job checking fluid levels. He found the coolant was way too low, which I had missed. That could have led to overheating and engine damage. Now I see that fresh eyes can spot things I tune out. I even let him help with basic diagnostics now. It's made our weekends more fun and productive.

Watched my neighbor's kid fix a wobbly table leg last week. I had been ignoring it for months, thinking it was just a minor thing. He came over, saw it, and tightened it with a wrench from his toy toolkit. Now the table is solid, and I feel silly for not dealing with it sooner. It's funny how kids notice details we adults just accept.

Admit I used to ignore stuff like that, but this changed my mind.
