On one hand, we learn so much. On the other, it's their final rest, you know?

Read somewhere they display Egyptian mummies now. That really blurs the line between study and disrespect.

Saw that the Manchester Museum took their mummy displays down last year. They said it treated human remains like artifacts instead of people. Kind of proves your point about that blurry line.

Isn't it creepy how museums just lay mummies out for everyone to stare at? I walked through one of those exhibits and it felt like a violation, plain and simple. They're treating someone's ancestor like a curiosity in a cabinet. That's not education, it's spectacle. We gotta do better than putting human remains on show like that.
