I tried to fix my living room curtains with a sewing hack and now I have a new outfit idea
Last week, I noticed a big tear in my living room curtains. Instead of buying new ones, I decided to stitch them up with some leftover lace from an old project. I got my sewing machine out, but things went sideways fast. The lace was too delicate, and I ended up sewing the curtain to my shirt sleeve without realizing it. When I stood up, the whole curtain came down with me, wrapped around like a toga. My family laughed so hard, but then my kid said it looked cool. Now I'm sketching designs based on that accidental drape, thinking about flowy layers for a spring collection. Who knew a home repair could spark a fashion idea? Maybe I should mess up more often.

Question if this curtain toga situation is really that serious for a fashion idea. In my experience, most craft fails just become funny family stories, not actual design plans. Your mileage may vary, but calling it a spring collection seems like a big jump from a silly mistake. Take this with a grain of salt, but maybe it was just a lucky look that won't work twice.

Totally get that, my couch throw blanket somehow turned into a shawl I wore for three days straight after a similar crafting meltdown.

Glad I'm not the only one who treats their favorite blanket like a security woobie. At this point I'm one bad day away from just turning myself into a blanket burrito permanently.
