Update: My dad's small business is in a lawsuit with a big corp, and family dinners are all about legal strategy now.

That's smart, @emmah42. Setting that hard stop time is key. We tried something similar when my partner was dealing with a tough client. We found putting our phones in a basket during dinner helped even more. It forced everyone to actually disconnect, not just stop talking about work. The Saturday meeting idea is a good one, it gives a set place to worry so you can relax the rest of the week.

Hot take: Water rinse instead of stop bath fixed my streaky film

Old rules are just habits" is the realest darkroom truth. Sometimes I think people treat their stop bath routine like it's holy scripture instead of, you know, a jar of sour water. Your fixer-only rebellion is probably saving you cash on weird chemical bandaids too.

Serious question, moving my phone charger out of the bedroom quieted my racing thoughts.

Leaving my laptop in the office after 6 PM cut my work anxiety in half. It's wild how these tiny physical rules can quiet the noise in your head.

I tried to fix my living room curtains with a sewing hack and now I have a new outfit idea

Totally get that, my couch throw blanket somehow turned into a shawl I wore for three days straight after a similar crafting meltdown.

Started using a dedicated 'client feedback' folder for all revisions and it's eliminated so much back-and-forth email chaos, lmao.

Skeptical at first, but this shows habit shifts are real.
