inPSA: The week we had three separate AOG calls for the same type of landing gear sensor
Ever have a wire rub through inside a conduit? @christopher_west1, your story reminds me of a Cessna 172 where the flap motor wire was shorting inside the plastic tube. We chased our tails for a week before we pulled a new wire through.

inMy map reading mistake on the Lost Coast Trail cost me a whole afternoon
Remember trying to refold a map and it just turning into a permanent crumpled mess in the glove box. That struggle was part of the whole deal. You'd miss a turn and end up finding some weird roadside place you never would have seen otherwise. Now the phone just reroutes you instantly and the whole weird little side trip gets erased.

inMy sister changed my mind about saving seeds from store bought veggies
I always bought the fancy seed packets until I saw a video from a farm in Florida. They showed their bulk seed bins, and the labels matched the generic brands at my local hardware store. It was literally the same stuff, just different packaging. Now I check for the supplier code on the back of the envelope. A lot of them come from the same few big companies. Saved a ton of money on my basil and tomatoes last year.

inQuestion about identifying pottery shards from a dig site near Tucson
Oh man, that low-angle light trick is a total game changer! I had the exact same thing happen with some boring looking bone fragments. I started using a cheap LED flashlight from the side in a dark room, and all these cut marks from tools just popped out. It felt like magic! Trying different colors of light can help too, like a warm light versus a cool white one, because sometimes the contrast picks up different stuff.

inStopped by a new burger joint in Austin and their air fryer setup was a game changer
Honestly, the real test is if they can make a decent fried chicken sandwich in those things.
