Just saw something weird at the flour mill tour in Red Wing
They had a huge open bin of bread flour near the exit, and I watched a kid stick his whole hand in it before his mom pulled him away. The staff didn't replace the flour or even mark the bin as contaminated. Has anyone else run into this kind of thing at a supplier, and how do you check your bulk ingredients are clean?

Ugh, I saw a guy sneeze right into a bulk spice bin once...

That spice story reminds me of the time at a big box store where someone dropped a whole bag of rice in the bulk nuts and just scooped it back in. I don't trust any open bins now.
