Got chewed out for using a zip tie on a coax run at a Denver apartment complex
The building super said it looked sloppy and made them think we cut corners. I always thought it was fine if the signal was good, but now I carry a roll of velcro strips for any visible lines. Anyone else get pushback on small stuff like that?

Right? "Some people just need something to complain about" is so true. I got yelled at once for using a black zip tie on a gray cable conduit... the boss said it "ruined the aesthetic." The cable was inside a locked closet nobody ever sees.

Seriously? A zip tie on a coax cable is what set him off? As long as the signal is fine and it's not a safety issue, I'd call that a job done. Some people just need something to complain about.
