Honestly thought my cheap blade grinder was fine for my French press

Ever notice how the right tool for the job just makes everything click? Like using a screwdriver instead of a butter knife.

Serious question, when did we stop trusting our eyes for panel gaps?

Remember that guy who rebuilt a classic Mustang in his garage? He swore by the eye test, said specs were for new cars. He got it all looking straight, but at the first big show, the judges flagged him on hood alignment with their little tools. He was crushed. Sometimes the numbers see what our eyes get used to.

Unpopular opinion: The 30% credit rule is a trap for most people.

Man, that's wild but it makes total sense. It's like those hidden rules they never really tell you about. I see it all the time with stuff like cell phone plans or gym memberships, where the fine print changes everything. You follow the basic advice but miss the one trick that actually moves the needle. What other money rules do they explain badly?

Update: Tried two different lube methods on the same batch of Gateron Oil Kings

Ever try to bag lube and just end up with a greasy mess? My last attempt looked like I was trying to season a salad, not lube switches. I'm sticking with the slow brush method, my shaky hands can't handle the bag.

Had to choose between fresh chicken or a whole frozen bird last week

Read an article about lentils causing stomach issues for some people. The fiber can be rough if you're not used to it. Gotta start with small portions. Still a solid cheap food pick though. Just a heads up for anyone jumping in with both feet.
