Serious question, my sister in law asked why I hang stuff I don't even like, and it stuck with me
She was over at my place in Cleveland last month and pointed at this big framed print above my couch that I got at a garage sale for $6. She asked if I actually liked it or if I just bought it since it was cheap and filled the space. I admitted I never liked it, I just grabbed it so the wall wasn't empty. Since then I've been taping up my own photos and a couple of my kid's drawings in a $3 frame from the thrift store, and the wall honestly looks better to me. Has anyone else swapped out cheap art they settled for with stuff they actually care about?
