Old timer at a smoke shop fixed my vape temp problem
I was at a little smoke shop in Spokane last month, complaining to the clerk that my dry herb vape was giving me weak, wispy hits no matter what I tried. This older guy in a flannel, just browsing pipes, chimed in and asked what temp I was running. I said 380°F, thinking that was the sweet spot everyone talks about. He shook his head and told me to try 410°F for that particular device because the oven design loses heat through the metal housing. Swear to god, I went home, bumped it up, and the next bowl was night and day different - thick clouds and actual flavor. Has anyone else found a big gap between what folks recommend online and what works for your specific vape?
