Serious question, did you know the average drywall installer's career only lasts about 8 years?

I was reading a trade association report from last month and it said most folks leave the trade due to injury or burnout before they hit a decade. That really got me thinking about how we work and the long-term toll. What's one thing you do differently now to protect your body for the long haul?

My buddy's back is shot from not using knee pads, it's brutal.

Knee pads causing a wrecked back sounds like a stretch. That's usually from bad form or lifting way too heavy. Might be more to that story.
