inMy food truck hit 500 orders in a single weekend and it messed with my head
We hit 400 plates at the farmers market last month and panicked. I prepped for 20% more the next week and still sold out. Just go up a bit each week until you find the new normal.

inHeads up about the new 'performance' fuel at the station on Route 9
That QuickFill has always been sketchy. Remember their "winter blend" diesel last year? My neighbor's old Dodge turned into a smoke machine for a week. He had to drop the tank and clean everything out himself. Seems like they cut corners with their special fuel mixes. Would not be surprised if this new stuff is from the same bad supplier. Definitely sticking to the big name stations from now on.

inMy local coffee shop's $5 latte versus my home setup

inLooking back at my first VP role in Austin, I used to think micromanaging my team's weekly reports was the only way to stay on top of things, but after a brutal quarter where we missed our numbers, I forced myself to switch to setting clear quarterly goals and then getting out of the way.
Checking in on people after hours... had to stop that. Let them live their lives.

inSaw a dress at the Portland Art Museum that changed how I see color blocking
Details are what separate cheap clothes from quality ones. Stitching can change how a piece fits and lasts for years. Calling that overthinking just means you don't care about craftsmanship.
