Rant: My neighbor said he fixed his PS5 with a hairdryer and a prayer
He was serious... told me he held a blow dryer on the HDMI port for 'about 20 minutes' while his wife said a Hail Mary. It actually worked, somehow. Has anyone else heard a repair method that made you just stop and stare?

The "hail mary" part got me. I once tried to fix a broken laptop hinge with a glue gun and a shoelace. It held for a week, then the screen just flopped over like a dead fish. Sometimes you just have to commit to the bad idea and hope.
