That voting stuff can go both ways though. My old office let us pick the new coffee machine and it was a disaster lol. Too many opinions just meant we got the worst possible option.

See, I've always found that setting a budget upfront kills the fun for me. When I jump into a new hobby, I'd rather spend what feels right and handle the mess later. It's a more real way to learn what you actually want. Yes, it hurts when the bills pile up, but that pain teaches you faster than any plan.
