inBooked a flight through a third party site to save $50, ended up paying $200 extra for seat selection and baggage.
Man I gotta say I see it totally different. I book third party all the time and save way more than $50 usually like $150-200 on flights to Florida or Texas. The trick is knowing what you're getting into before you click buy. Southwest is the easiest since bags are free anyway, and I never check a bag if I can help it. Plus some third party sites like Expedia or Priceline let you bundle with a hotel and it actually works out cheaper even with the fees. You just gotta read the fine print instead of rushing through checkout.

inDebating if foam in the case kills the sound or just makes it tighter
@tyler614 You hit it with "flabby and loose" that's exactly what I dealt with on my PC build before adding foam. I actually cut up some 2mm shelf liner from the dollar store and it worked perfectly, gave the board a clean pop without killing the switch character. For polycarb plates I think the key is not overstuffing it, just enough to absorb that hollow echo so the switches can actually show their personality. I've settled on a combo of thin foam between the plate and PCB plus a slightly thicker layer in the case bottom and it's night and day compared to the bare setup.

inJust saw a line of 20 identical F-150s at a job site in Spokane. All white. All work trucks. Changed my view on fleet buys.
Oh man, I've been there! My old company ran 15 identical white Ford Transits for our delivery fleet. It made life so much easier. We just kept a stack of oil filters and brake pads in the shop, and every driver knew exactly where the tire pressure reset button was. No guessing games with different models, which saved us a ton on downtime.

inThat $50 'budget tracker' app I bought last week was a total scam
Heard a financial blogger talk about how these apps are basically just reskins of free templates with a fancy logo. She tested like 10 of them and found most just do basic math your bank's app already does. Saw a whole reddit thread where people were sharing their free spreadsheet setups that do the same thing but better. Its wild how these companies prey on people who just want a little help with their money. Did you try getting a refund through your bank or the app store? Some people have had luck disputing it as a scam purchase.

inUpdate: I thought the whole 'clean install' thing was overkill for every repair
Started doing the same thing after my laptop went from fine to crawling overnight. Saves all that headache of digging through event logs or trying random fixes that never really work. At some point you just gotta accept that a fresh start is the quickest way forward.
