My garage-built cruiser is finally quiet on the road

Picked up a noisy cruiser from a buddy. Thought the chain was the issue. Found dry hub bearings instead. Cleaned and greased them properly. Also tweaked the brake alignment. Now it rides smooth and quiet. Really proud of this fix.

Honestly, I find more graphic design inspo under a hood than on any design site.

Warning: Checking if old cartridges are real takes forever

I got tired of finding fake NES stuff at flea markets and almost gave up. Then I learned to look at the chip date codes and connector pins closely. It took some practice, but last month I found a real Castlevania III in a junk bin. Felt pretty good to know I got it right.
