Vent: The paint color in my living room looks nothing like the swatch
I spent all day painting my living room with what I thought was a nice beige. In the daylight, it has a weird pink tint that makes the whole room feel off. Is there a way to fix this without starting over, or do I have to live with it?

Can you believe how much lighting changes paint colors? I had the same thing happen with a gray that turned out purple in certain light. What worked for me was mixing in a tiny bit of green paint to cancel out the pink tone. I tested it on a hidden spot first, like behind a couch, to see if it helped. It toned down the pink and made the color more neutral without repainting everything. Maybe try a similar approach with a complementary color to fix the tint?

I read that cool white LED bulbs can make gray paint look purple or pink. It's all about the light temperature bringing out hidden colors in the paint. You might try a warmer bulb before bothering with color mixing.

Ugh, that pink tint nightmare. Before trying what @jade_mason98 said, check if your primer was white or gray, because that base layer can totally throw the final color off. A fresh coat of the right primer might fix it without color mixing. Test a small section to see if it kills the pink.
