inMy coworker said he only watches shows where the friend group saves the day
Yeah heist movies are the obvious pick like @lisa_grant said. My buddy had this same talk and it got him into old disaster movies. He said the original Poseidon Adventure is the perfect example. The whole thing is a broken group of strangers on a capsized ship. They only survive because the priest, the detective, the kid, everyone uses their one specific skill to get through each obstacle. The bond that forms is literally how they climb out.

inPSA: My site grid in Turkey got washed out by a flash flood
Did the pottery survive the mud bath, or was it a total loss?

inVent: Used a 3/4 inch nylon sling on a tricky lift over a fence in Everett and it stretched way more than I figured.
An extra foot for every blind pick sounds like overkill. Just plan your rigging better next time.

inRealized I was totally overcomplicating my menu descriptions after a customer in Burbank asked me to just tell him what was in the sandwich.
Oh man, that hits home. I did the exact same thing with a project description on my website last month. I had this whole paragraph about "synergistic solutions" and "streamlined workflows." My friend read it and just asked, "So you fix computers?" Felt like such a fool. Why do we make things sound so hard? Just saying what it is works way better.

inA client in Phoenix said I was taping seams too fast
Yeah, my buddy had a similar thing happen on a big commercial job. He rushed the drying on some ceiling seams to meet a deadline, and a whole section cracked like a spiderweb a few months later. The GC made him redo it all on his own dime. He doesn't even look at a calendar on humid days now, just feels the mud with his hand.
