Why my electrolysis setup left my saw blade with a weird film

Ever think that film might actually be leftover washing soda solution? If it feels greasy, it could just be a layer of the electrolyte that dried on there without a good enough scrub after. I always rinse mine under hot water while scrubbing with a stiff brush right after I pull it out, before it dries at all. A lot of tutorials skip over how important that step is, in my experience.

Tiling my bathroom showed me how much better new wet saws are compared to old cutters.

Yeah I would have totally said the same thing last year. Then my buddy let me use his new Rigid saw when we were redoing his bathroom floor. The cut was so clean and the thing just felt safer, way less chipping. It honestly turned a messy job into something kind of satisfying. Changed my whole view on spending a bit more for good tools.

Got a client meeting across the country and the travel logistics are killing me

Derek_gonzalez is right about those flights being lottery tickets. You're gambling on non-refundable hotel rates too, and those "flexible" fares that actually cost double. I always check the cancellation policy first now, because you can get stuck paying for a whole room if your meeting moves. Sometimes you just have to eat the cost as a business risk, which feels terrible.

I got a phishing email so silly it made my day

Phishing emails with mistakes like that are almost comforting in a way. I mean, I've seen ones where the sender's address is totally wrong, like using a Gmail account for a bank. It makes you wonder if the scammers are just lazy or if they're targeting people who might not notice. Either way, it's a good reminder to always double-check before clicking anything.

My repainted doorframe keeps reverting to the old color.

Disagree, mine stayed solid all spring. Maybe it's the paint or sealant used?
