I got a phishing email so silly it made my day
Yesterday, I got an email saying it was from my bank, but it spelled my name wrong as 'Costumer'. I shared it with my roommate, and he almost dropped his coffee laughing. We talked about how looking for typos can keep you safe from scams. Now he always looks twice at emails, which is a good thing.

Phishing emails with mistakes like that are almost comforting in a way. I mean, I've seen ones where the sender's address is totally wrong, like using a Gmail account for a bank. It makes you wonder if the scammers are just lazy or if they're targeting people who might not notice. Either way, it's a good reminder to always double-check before clicking anything.
