My suet feeder was moldy for months and I never noticed

Mold just adds a little extra flavor, right?

Debate: Is it better to fix a bad haircut right away or wait a few days?

Heard this exact thing from my friend Karen. She's a stylist too and she did this one bob on a woman. Thought she fixed it right there but the client came back the next day furious. Said it looked totally different dry and slept on. Karen had to take off even more. Now she always waits. She says hair lies to you when it's wet. Tells clients to come back in 48 hours and it saves her so much stress.

Vent: Refinished my kitchen countertops and they look worse than before

Could the yellowing actually be from heat damage if you got too aggressive with that heat gun? I've seen it happen where people hold the heat in one spot too long trying to chase bubbles, and the epoxy discolors underneath. Maybe check if the yellow spots are only where you spent extra time smoothing things out.

My brother called me out for rewatching The Office for the 7th time and it got me thinking about comfort shows

Tell him the 7th rewatch is amateur hour, you're just getting warmed up. I've seen The Office like 12 times and I still catch new background jokes. What I do when people give me a hard time is I just turn it on while I'm doing other stuff like folding laundry or cooking dinner. That way it feels productive but I still get my Michael Scott fix. Plus the show is so well written that each season has its own vibe, so pick your favorite era and rotate around. Don't let anyone guilt you out of something that makes you feel good.

Rant: I used to just slap filters on my art for gallery pages, now I actually tweak lighting and it shows real growth

Honestly I’ve gone the other way on this. Filters save me so much time and my work still sells fine. I don’t think manually tweaking every little thing makes it breathe more, sometimes it just makes it take forever.
