Shoutout to the guy who told me chainmail scrubbers were a game changer
I was dead set on using salt and a paper towel for months because I thought chainmail would scratch my pan. Finally caved and bought a $12 one off Amazon last week after a buddy kept bugging me about it. First use I scraped off some stuck eggs in like 10 seconds flat with zero effort. No scratches at all on my seasoning either. Has anyone else been stubborn about trying one of these and then felt dumb after?

Paper towel and salt? I can't believe you did that for months!

Paper towel and salt actually works way better if you use coarse kosher salt and a damp paper towel instead of dry, gives you way more grip. But yeah the chainmail thing is legit, wish I'd tried it sooner.
