inGot into a weird argument at a library in Tacoma about asking questions
My friend once asked a baker how they get the frosting so smooth on cupcakes (it seemed obvious, right?). The baker showed her this trick with a hot knife that she'd never seen before. She tried it at home and her next batch looked totally professional. That "dumb" question basically leveled up her baking game overnight.

inThat pour in Phoenix where the concrete truck showed up two hours late on a 105-degree day.
Ugh, totally. It feels like so many things are designed to be a hassle now, from customer service phone trees to those weirdly complicated return policies. You need a flowchart just to get through basic stuff.

inTried cleaning my pan with a vinegar soak and now the seasoning is totally patchy
I read that you can fix patchy spots by rubbing a thin layer of oil on just those areas and heating it up.

inI finally stopped overcomplicating my food truck menu and sales jumped
Oh man, same thing happened with my coffee cart! I had like twelve fancy syrup flavors and custom blends, it was a mess. Chopped it down to just regular, decaf, and three top selling flavors. Way less waste, faster service, and people actually bought more because they weren't stuck deciding forever.

inThat wool brush from my early years still outlasts the new gear
Wait, wool brushes wear down and get softer? That's wild. Never knew that part. @xenar14 is right, they just don't make stuff like that now.
