Water kefir wasn't bubbling. Switched from white to raw sugar. Problem gone.

Funny how the smallest change can kickstart something that seemed totally stuck. It's like when your wifi acts up and you just unplug the router for a minute, and suddenly everything works again. We get used to doing things one way, even when it stops working, because it's what we know. Switching sugars is that little nudge, a tiny variable shift that wakes the whole process up. Life's full of those flat moments that just need one raw ingredient swap to get fizzy again.

Serious question, I've seen a lot of DIY kitchen herb walls lately.

You used old wooden crates? And they're holding pots with dirt? That seems risky, are they actually sturdy enough? What if they get wet from watering?

The new shop on Elm Street pushes chemical strippers for every job, but I won't use them.

Can't believe @jade_murphy the wood felt burned!

Showerthought: My grubby outfit almost ruined a chance to chat about sweeps at a picnic

Keeping a spare shirt seemed silly to me before. Your coffee shop story totally flipped that view. I had a close call with a soda last week that could have ruined my day. Now I see the wisdom in having a backup plan. Might just start doing the same thing.

Update: Watching my cat nap gave me a wild idea for a cozy sweater design!

That draped neckline idea from a cat curl is so clever. You could even add some subtle ribbing along the spiral seam for texture. It would keep that loose shape but add a bit of cozy structure.
