inHit 200 welds on a single tank last week... that's a record for me
I mean, maybe it's just me but I think it was actually the regulator, not the tip size, that saved most of that gas.

inMy dollar store glue gun melted after one use on a foam pumpkin
I'm more curious why you'd trust the glue from that same aisle to hold a wreath that's supposed to last. Those school glue sticks are basically just wet paper in a tube after they dry. You might wake up to half your pumpkin on the floor in a week.

inSpent $40 on a fancy spiralizer and now it's collecting dust in my pantry
My Mandoline slicer sits in the same dusty corner after I nearly took off my fingertip on the second use. The guard thing they include is useless for keeping your knuckles safe while you're trying to shave a potato. They're honestly a bigger hazard than they're worth for anyone who cooks without a cut glove.

inThe week my espresso machine died on Monday morning
gave up the ghost" lol perfect way to put it. My buddy Dave had his Breville die on him right before a big family brunch, like 20 mins before people showed up. He had to run to the corner store for instant coffee and just told everyone it was a "special French blend" or something. Took like a week to get the replacement part in, and he said drinking that instant stuff almost made him cry every morning. He still jokes about it being the darkest timeline of his coffee life.

inTorqued a bolt on a Cessna 172 engine mount and learned the hard way what happens when you go past 60 ft-lbs
Stopped using those cheap beam style torque wrenches after my first big mistake on a Honda Civic engine block. Switched to a click type and never looked back. The trick is to always go slow and listen for the click, not just feel it through your hands. I also started keeping a little log book of torque values for every bolt I touch. Helps me double check before I start cranking. Have you thought about getting a different style torque wrench or just going more careful next time?
