Heads up on a big mistake I keep seeing with AI ad copy

I was looking at a bunch of ads for a client in the auto parts space, and the AI kept using the same generic phrases like 'revolutionary' and 'next-gen' on every single product. It made all their stuff sound the same. I ran a test where I fed the tool specific customer pain points from real forum posts, and the copy got way better. The mistake is just hitting 'generate' without giving the AI the right raw material first. Has anyone else found a good way to feed real customer language into these tools?

Vent: A painter told me my prep work looked like a 'rust farm'

I was getting ready to spray a quarter panel on a 2015 Silverado, and the painter from the booth next door walked over. He pointed at my feathering and said, 'You're leaving too much old primer, that's a rust farm in a year.' I was mad at first, but he showed me how he uses a guide coat over the whole area to find every low spot. Now I always do a full guide coat, even on small jobs. Anyone else have a trick that seemed like extra work but saved you in the long run?

A guy at the Memphis in May contest changed how I see brisket trimming

I was helping a friend at his tent last year, and this older pitmaster from Texas came over to chat. He saw my brisket on the table, and he said, 'Son, you're leaving way too much fat on that flat.' I was taught to leave a quarter inch for protection, but he argued that in a modern insulated smoker, that much fat just steams the meat and makes it mushy. He said he trims his down to an eighth inch, almost like a competition trim, even for backyard cooks. I tried it on my next three briskets, and honestly, the bark was way better and the meat wasn't dry at all. It goes against a lot of the old school advice you hear. Has anyone else tried trimming that lean and had good results?

Used a custom .pat file from a forum for a textured concrete look on a foundation detail. The city reviewer flagged it, said it was too close to their standard for CMU. Had to redo six sheets. Anyone else run into issues with local jurisdictions having specific hatch requirements?

Finally got through a full week of tile without a single cracked corner.

I had a job laying 12x24 porcelain in a kitchen remodel over in the West End. The homeowner picked a tile that felt brittle right out of the box. By Wednesday, I was sure I'd be ordering more. But I slowed way down, mixed my thinset a little wetter, and back-buttered every single piece. Finished the last cut Friday afternoon and didn't have to replace a thing. Anyone else have a go-to method for fussy tile?
