My astro pics cleared up after I tackled light pollution

Was out last night trying to get shots of Orion, but the glare from nearby buildings made everything look washed out. Read up on how light pollution messes with astronomy and wastes energy big time. Got some motion-sensor lights for my place and talked to neighbors about it. Now my photos have way more detail, and we're using less power. Kinda neat how fixing one hobby thing can help the environment too.
