inMessing up my garage cleanup showed me why I fail at project estimates
Totally get that! My last closet reorganization was a mess because I just started pulling everything out. Ended up with a bigger pile on the bed and no plan to put it back. Now I write down zones, like "shoes first, then winter clothes," before touching anything.

inMy yoga mat has seen better days, but so have I.
That bit about your mat seeing better days but still helping you touch your toes really got me. I used to throw away stuff as soon as it looked old. Then I had this pair of running shoes that fell apart but felt perfect. Now I see worn things as broken in, not broken. Your mat is like that, a record of all your mornings. It's not about being new, it's about knowing it works for you.

inMy garden had a surprise piece of calcite
That fizz reaction is a blast, isn't it? My kid and I tried that once and it made her day. When you mention your cheap guide, was it a little book or something you found online? I'm always looking for better ways to figure out what I dig up.

inCan we talk about when a service robot kept following me at a tech fair?
Stopped dead in my tracks and turned around to face it once. That usually resets their tracking. Had a delivery bot at a convention lock onto my coffee cup like it was a priority package. Just stood there blocking the aisle until I moved the cup behind my back. Their object recognition still gets tripped up by the dumbest things.

inSkipping my buoyancy control refresher course resulted in a coral damage guilt trip
Yeah, poor buoyancy at night is so rough. I read that sleeping turtles can hold their breath for hours, so suddenly floating down on them must be a real shock.
