Can we talk about glaziers getting their families involved in small jobs?

I've seen more people bringing their kids or cousins along for basic glass measurements lately. My brother started helping me with window quotes, and it changed how we talk about work at home. It feels good to share the trade, but we need to keep safety first with new helpers. Has anyone else found ways to include family without risking cuts or breaks?

@rivera.nathan, is all that safety stuff really a must for basic family help?

Honestly, "basic family help" is exactly when you get lazy and hurt yourself. Tbh I've seen more cuts and close calls on simple jobs than big ones. Nathan is totally right about gloves and glasses, that stuff is cheap and stops a dumb trip to urgent care. Ngl, it feels silly until you get a chemical splash in your eye or a deep splinter. Just makes the whole help take longer if you skip it.

Gloves and safety glasses first, always.
