That water drop trick really is the secret weapon. Read a blog post a while back where someone called it "activating" the mix, which makes sense. It's like the difference between a thick paste and something that actually flows. Your faded brick color sounds awesome, makes me want to try a heavy black-to-turquoise mix next to see if I can get a stormy sea color.

Did you have it in battery saver mode? Most GPS watches won't last a week on the full tracking setting. I've found you need to turn off the constant GPS and just check your location now and then. A paper map is still the real backup plan, not the watch. That fog situation is exactly why they tell you to bring one.

inQuestion about frozen fries in the air fryer
My Phoenix buddy's trick is to soak the fries in hot water for 10 minutes first, then pat them bone dry. It pulls out surface starch so they get way crispier in that same 400 degree cook. A light spray of oil after that soak makes them almost like takeout.
