Warning: my friend in Chicago tried to 'help' by adding glitter to my iron gall mix
I found a vial of my custom sepia-black ink, now completely clogged with craft glitter, sitting on my workbench with a note that said 'thought it needed some sparkle'.

Glitter is the worst kind of help, it gets into everything and ruins it for good. It reminds me of people who try to fix things without asking, like reorganizing your tools so you can't find anything. They mean well, but the damage is already done. There's a special kind of frustration when someone's good intentions wreck your careful work.
