PSA: My site grid in Turkey got washed out by a flash flood
We were digging near Antalya and a sudden storm filled our trenches with mud and rocks. Had to spend two days just cleaning it out before we could even look at the pottery shards we'd found, anyone else had a dig site get wrecked by weather?

Ugh, that sounds like a total nightmare. Hope you can salvage most of it.

Yeah, the "salvage most of it" part really hits. It feels like everything lately is about damage control. Like when you spill coffee on a report right before a meeting, or your phone dies when you need directions. You're just constantly trying to save what you can from small disasters. It gets tiring, always patching things up instead of moving forward.
