Warning: The squirrel in the dryer vent was not the main problem
Got a call last week for a dryer that wouldn't heat up in a house out near the woods. Pulled the vent off the back and found a whole nest, plus a very angry squirrel that shot out past my leg. Cleaned it all out, but the dryer still wouldn't run. Turns out the homeowner had tried to fix it himself first and put the belt on backwards, which I found after another 45 minutes of taking it apart. Ever have a simple job turn into a two hour puzzle because of a 'helpful' previous attempt?
