Just found out you can ask Google to delete your search history in one click

I read an article last year about data backups. It said when you delete something from a major service, it might just be removed from your view. The company often keeps a copy in a different system for their own analysis. It's like taking a book off your shelf but the library still has its record of you checking it out. That click is a good first step, but it's hard to know what's truly erased.

My neighbor saw me scrub my pan with soap and gave me a look.

Yeah, the old soap fear is just leftover from when soap had lye in it.

Why does nobody talk about those cheap O2 sensor sockets stripping out?

My buddy had the exact same thing happen last month, total nightmare. He was fighting a downstream sensor on his truck with one of those flimsy discount store sockets. The whole hex just twisted right off, left the sensor stuck in the manifold. Ended up having to pull the whole thing to get it to a bench vise, completely ruined his weekend. He swore off the cheap stuff and got a Proto socket that's held up way better, says the extra cash was worth not having that headache again.

Serious question, had a talk with a fleet manager about rebuilds versus swaps.

Wait, so what's the actual difference between a rebuild and a reman? I thought a reman was just a factory rebuild.

My uncle insisted we skip the switchbacks on the Timberline Trail loop

Oh, he's a madman with a great time on Strava.
