inRant: My quiet forest loop got overrun after a viral route post
Ugh, this reminds me of a hidden swimming hole spot. A friend posted a gorgeous pic but only said it was "east of the river." Next weekend there were like twenty cars parked along the gravel road, people actually trampling through a farmer's field to find it. Sometimes even hints act like a beacon. Now I just keep my favorite map grids to myself.

inAppreciation post: My old drafting table saved me during a power outage
Nah @anna_roberts8, gotta disagree on this one. Tech fails sure, but calling a table just plywood misses how much the digital tools actually help. Those crashes force you to save all the time, which saves your work more than paper ever could. Analog stuff is cool but it has its own limits that can wreck a project just as fast. The sweet spot is using both instead of acting like one is clearly better.

inUnpopular opinion: I used to skip coffee before workouts, but now I swear by it.
Yeah, the jitters are real. I once spilled my pre-workout coffee all over the gym floor because my hands were shaking so bad. @john697 has a point with timing, but if you're prone to shakes, no amount of waiting helps. I switched to cold brew, it's smoother, but still not for everyone. Honestly, water and a solid warm-up like you said is the way to go, no crash to deal with.

inShoutout to the endless sanding on that custom banister
Does the client even know what 'mirror finish' costs in sweat and time? That kind of detail work is a long haul of pure boredom. I just tell myself the check better be as shiny as the banister.

inThe coral at my go-to spot has completely bleached and it's heartbreaking
Honestly, my friend saw that happen and mentioned @thomas_davis's shade cloth idea.
