Yeah and it's not just streetlights either. I was at the grocery store last night and their parking lot was brighter than a baseball stadium, like @daniel_walker8 said it's basically turning night into day everywhere. I mean gas stations, car lots, even people's backyard floodlights. It feels like we're scared of the dark now or something, we gotta blast light on every single square foot. Idk maybe it's just me but I miss being able to actually see a few stars without all that washout.

The third floor study carrel was my saving grace. It offered a full hour of uninterrupted focus. Those silent moments tend to be the real highlight.

Had a work avatar get its hand fused to a virtual whiteboard once. Stood there like a statue for the whole meeting. The polite silence was more painful than any real world interruption. Those glitches absolutely add a layer of genuine, shared tension.

Fair point about Grand Teton. Those maps are actually super useful too.
