A wrong resistor value smoked a power supply unit I was fixing

I grabbed a 10k resistor instead of a 100 ohm one for a PSU repair. When I turned it on, there was a pop and smoke came out. The main IC got fried and the repair cost doubled. Always label your parts bins clearly to avoid mix-ups.
