Honestly, I used to roll my eyes at souvenir guidebooks, but buying one at Grand Teton changed my mind.

Tbh, I thought they were just overpriced trinkets, but the historical photos and stories inside made the landscapes come alive. Now I collect them as mementos from each park.

Those 1920s survey maps got the foothills completely wrong though.
