inSpent 5 hours debugging a spacebar that wouldn't stop rattling... it was one screw
That "one screw" thing hits way too close to home... I spent like three hours once convinced my entire plate was warped because of a rattle. Turned out I just forgot to screw the stabilizer into the PCB on one side. Just sat there floating around loose like a dummy. Worst part is I had already taken the whole board apart twice before I noticed. Sometimes I think my brain just skips over the obvious stuff when I'm hyperfocused on the complicated possibilities...

inDried out a client's hair with too much heat and had to backtrack fast
That boar bristle brush trick saved my hair last week when I went too heavy with the heat and started getting that crispy look around the crown.

inDebate: Is it rude to ask someone to put away their phone during a board game or am I being a grump?
Oh man I used to totally be on your buddy's side actually! I'd be like "it's just a turn based game chill out" but then a friend called me out and made me realize I was missing all the little jokes and table talk while I was zoning out on my phone. Now I'm in the same boat as you, it really does kill the whole group energy when someone's scrolling between turns.

inMy spider plant terrarium turned into a moldy mess last week
Sometimes that extra moisture is exactly what they crave though.

inAppreciation post: The old-timer who swore by a grease pencil for the cutterhead
...and does it really matter that much? I mean, sure, marking a wear line on teeth is practical enough if you're trying to track rotation schedules. But I've seen guys run cutterheads way past that mark and still get decent results. Maybe it's just me but I feel like people get a little too precious about these old-school tricks. A little grease pencil isn't going to save you if the ground conditions are just bad.
