inMy barber in Chicago talked me out of an AI scheduling bot
Your app can't feel when someone's actually late" is honestly the best take on AI scheduling I've ever heard. Dude runs 12 chairs with a waiting list, he doesn't need software, he needs a clone.

inVent: My $80 detector died 20 minutes into a park hunt
Wait, it worked fine on the bench but died 20 minutes into the actual hunt? That's brutal. I had a detector do the same thing, ran great in my yard, then the second I got to a real spot it just quit. Turned out the coil wire had a tiny break right where it bends at the housing, so it only cut out once I was swinging it around. Hold the cable and wiggle it while the thing is on and see if the screen flickers. If it does, you found your spot. Just don't breathe too hard on that solder joint, those wires are crazy thin.

inUnfollowed the astro-rule about shooting at ISO 100, now my shots have grain I can't fix
Its the same thing I keep seeing with workout advice or cooking rules, someone turns a thing that works in one setup into a hard law for everyone. Your club leader probably shot an older camera where high ISO really was a mess, and for that sensor he wasnt wrong. But a newer camera handles 1600 fine, and the whole point is getting enough signal so you can stack away the noise. Tucson skies alone give your buddy a head start too, way less light pollution than most places. So the real answer is its camera and sky dependent, not a magic number, and chasing ISO 100 just made you lose faint detail for two years.
