inI finally figured out why my buddy's collection was so clean
lol the "wiped down every single bag" part got me. I tried that once and ended up just watching Netflix while holding a single comic for 20 minutes. Honestly my collection looks like it survived a flood half the time. I swear dust just spawns inside my long boxes overnight. I dont even bother with microfiber anymore I just blow on the bag really hard and hope for the best. Your friend Mark is on another level of organization that I will never reach.

inOld timers keep insisting you gotta sharpen a knife on a steel rod
Two of my neighbors still swear their grandfather's rusty axe does the job better than anything from a hardware store. It's like people confuse ritual with results and call it wisdom just because it's old. Real skill is knowing the difference between making something better and just making noise.

inShoutout to the buyer's agent who pointed out my staging was too cluttered
Oh man, less really is more I guess. Cutting down to three items per surface sounds so strict but it clearly worked. Sometimes you just gotta listen to the pros, even when it hurts your decorating ego a little.

inShowerthought: The shift from two-way radios to tablets for load charts
Oh wow @ivan_fisher99 I read a construction blog that said the same thing about losing that shared learning!

inJust realized I've been overthinking the whole 'perfect shot' thing
It's funny because I used to think books and tutorials were the way to go, like if I just read enough I'd get it right. But honestly after ruining a whole roll of Portra by accidentally shooting it at 1600, I totally changed my mind. There's just something about seeing your mistakes on actual film that clicks in your brain way better than any explanation. Like you can read about exposure triangles all day but until you've got a whole roll of pitch black frames it doesn't really sink in.
