I finally overhauled my virtual apartment's layout (it was a mess, honestly), but I'm debating open-plan vs. separate rooms.

Proponents of open spaces claim it fosters social interaction, but I worry about losing cozy nooks for solo VR sessions. How do you all structure your digital dwellings?

Oh man, my own virtual layout is a cautionary tale. I tried an open concept last year and accidentally created a 'conversation pit' that was just a weird void in the middle of the room, and my digital bookshelf ended up feeling like a public exhibit. I've since reinstated a small, separate library nook, complete with a terrible virtual fireplace that flickers ominously. Sometimes you need walls, even fake ones, to keep the chaos contained.

Totally! My friend redesigned her virtual workspace to be "boundary-free" and accidentally created a digital hoarding situation where sticky notes bled into her relaxation zone. She said it felt like her to-do list was constantly judging her meditation app. Ever have a design choice backfire that spectacularly?
