That coastal cave only shows up for a few weeks each year
I heard about it from a local fisherman years ago. He said to come back in late spring when the tides are just right. I marked my calendar and waited almost twelve months. When I finally saw it, the water was so clear you could see every rock. It was like finding a secret room in the ocean.

Hey, how did you nail down the exact timing for your visit? I dealt with something similar when tracking a tide pool that only shows up certain days. What worked for me was checking multiple tide forecast sites and cross-referencing with moon phases. I set calendar alerts for the predicted windows and had a backup plan in case the weather messed it up. Packing a good flashlight was key cause some spots are shadowy even in clear water. The prep felt like a lot but seeing it in person made all the difference.

Actually, going full research mode takes the fun out of it for me. You just gotta feel it out sometimes, like that one morning I went on a hunch with clouds still rolling in. The water was kinda murky but that made the colors in the reef pop even more, you know? Stumbled on a whole school of fish I never would've seen at peak low tide.

Wait, isn't low tide usually clearer for spotting stuff?
