Serious question, why does everyone rave about those $200 smart mugs that keep your coffee hot?

I bought one last Christmas thinking it would be a game changer, but after six months of daily use, I find the constant need to charge it and the weirdly thick lip on the cup make the whole experience more annoying than just using a regular insulated thermos.

Wait, you used it daily for six months? I gave up after a week because the charging plate was so finicky. That's some real commitment to being annoyed.

Honestly I just went back to my old travel mug and it's way less hassle.
