My old phone's battery life tanked after 18 months, now I check the battery health score first

I used to just look at the camera specs and storage when picking a new phone. After my last one, a Pixel 6, started dying by 2 PM every day, I learned the hard way. Now I read reviews that specifically test and mention the battery health after a year of use, not just the brand new specs. What's a good review site that actually tracks long-term battery wear?

Totally feel you on that. Battery health is the real spec that matters after a year. PhoneArena sometimes does follow up tests on older models, which helps. Otherwise, you have to dig into user forums for real world stories. The advertised specs are basically a lie after the first six months.

Read a piece last week arguing battery health should be listed as a spec right on the box.

Yeah that's such a good idea lol. My last phone's battery was totally shot after like 14 months, but the specs on the box made it sound like a champ. Tessap98 is right, you basically have to hunt through forums to get the real story. It feels like they're hiding the most important long-term info. Just tell us how it actually holds up so we can make a real choice.
