Honestly, everyone says you can't mix shimmer and pigment inks, but I've been doing it for a year with my old bottle of 'Midnight Sky' pigment base and it's been fine.
Tbh, I think the real issue is people not shaking the pigment base enough before mixing, because I've had zero clogs in my TWSBI Eco after 12 months of using a 3:1 ratio with a gold shimmer additive.

Maybe I'm just lucky, my pens are too scared of me to clog. I do shake the bottle like it owes me money though.

Shake the bottle like it owes you money? @camerona79, I mean that's a whole different level of commitment. I just give mine a little wiggle and hope for the best. Maybe my pens aren't scared enough.
